Thickness and finish

Desk items are usually built from 3–5 mm sheet for walls and 8–10 mm for bases, so the piece sits flat and does not slide when a pen is dropped in. Visible edges get a flame polish as standard; diamond polish is available where the item will be handled and inspected closely. Frosted and tinted sheet are popular for office environments because they hide fingerprints better than clear.

Ordering and packaging

MOQ is 1 piece and sampling takes about 7 days after artwork and dimensions are confirmed. For a gifting deadline, work backwards from the delivery date: sampling, production and finishing, then freight, which is the least predictable stage. Can you engrave individual names on each unit?

Yes. Send a spreadsheet of names and we engrave and pack each unit to match, so distribution is a matter of handing out labelled boxes rather than sorting on the day.

What artwork format do you need?

Vector files are best — AI, EPS, PDF or SVG, with fonts converted to outlines. High-resolution PNG at 300 dpi works for UV printing where vector artwork is not available.

Can you supply individual gift packaging?

Yes — printed sleeves, rigid gift boxes or plain cartons. Tell us how the set will be handed out and we will propose packing that survives the trip without adding unnecessary cost.

Is acrylic suitable for a hot desk environment?

Yes, and frosted or tinted sheet hides fingerprints better than clear. Avoid abrasive cleaners, which dull the surface over time.
