Acrylic line · boxes, drawers and dividers
Divided trays, drawer units, dust-cover boxes and cosmetic organizers built to your exact dimensions. Interior layout, lid style and branding are all specified per project.
For a storage box, the exterior is rarely the hard part — the interior grid is. Before quoting we need three numbers: the internal dimensions, the size of the largest item going in, and how the box will be used (retail display, home storage, or transport). From those we propose a divider layout and confirm clearances, because a compartment that is 2 mm too tight is a compartment that never gets used.
| Parameter | Typical range | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Sheet thickness | 3 mm walls · 5–8 mm base · 10 mm+ for heavy loads | Thicker bases resist bowing when the box is lifted full; walls can stay thin for a lighter look. |
| Divider thickness | 2–3 mm | Thin dividers maximise usable space; thicker ones stay straight in wide compartments. |
| Lid clearance | 0.5–1 mm per side | Too tight and the hood binds with humidity; too loose and it rattles. |
| Edge finish | Flame or diamond polish | Visible edges on a lid benefit from diamond polish; internal dividers are usually flame polished only. |
We use cast acrylic for boxes because it machines cleanly and takes a polish without stress marks. Clear is standard; black, white, frosted and tinted sheet are available, and mixing a clear hood with a coloured base is a common way to add brand colour without losing visibility. For anything a child could handle, we round external edges and avoid sharp internal corners — worth mentioning at the drawing stage, because it is nearly free to design in and awkward to add later.
Laser engraving gives a permanent frosted mark and is the most common choice on acrylic. UV printing handles full-colour artwork and photographic images on flat faces. For retail-ready programs we can print a logo on the base underside so the branding is visible through the lid, and pack each unit in an individual printed sleeve or gift box.
MOQ is 1 piece and sampling takes about 7 days after the drawing is confirmed — a useful window to test the divider layout with the actual contents before committing. Send internal dimensions, the items going in, and the quantity you expect; we return a layout proposal, a price and a lead time. Full process on the how to order page.
Yes — we work from internal dimensions rather than external, since the inside is what has to fit your product. Tell us the largest item going in and we will confirm the wall thickness and clearance needed.
No. Fixed, removable and slotted dividers are all possible. Removable dividers are worth specifying if the contents will change between product lines.
Acrylic will show fine scratches with abrasive cleaning. We supply a care note recommending a soft cloth and mild soap, and we can add a removable protective film on visible faces for retail units.
Yes — cam locks and keyed locks can be fitted to lidded and drawer units. Send the lock specification or we can propose a standard option sized to your panel thickness.
Sketches, CAD files or reference photos are all fine to start. MOQ 1 pc · 7-day sampling.
