Wood line · CNC-machined, sanded and finished
Tiered risers, counter stands, jewelry trays and shop fixtures in solid wood or E0-grade engineered board — machined, sanded and finished to your sample in our Dongguan factory.
The species decision is mostly about grain visibility, hardness and how the piece will be finished. We quote the species explicitly rather than a generic "solid wood".
| Material | Typical use | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Pine | Painted risers, large fixtures | Light, economical, takes paint well; grain is soft and shows through thin paint. |
| Rubberwood | Stained risers, trays, counters | Dense and stable with an even grain — behaves well under a stain and lacquer finish. |
| Walnut / oak (veneer or solid) | Premium retail, boutique displays | Chosen for grain character; usually specified with an open-pore oil or matte lacquer. |
| MDF, E0-grade | Painted and laminated parts, flat panels | Very stable and smooth for paint; E0-grade board is the usual choice for export markets with formaldehyde limits. |
| Plywood, E0-grade | Structural panels, shelving | Stronger than MDF across a span; edges need banding or a painted frame. |
Wood moves with humidity, and a display that is fine in a Dongguan workshop in March can arrive with open joints in a heated European warehouse in January. We design and pack around that:
Finishes are quoted by name because "wood finish" covers a wide price range: clear lacquer (matte, satin, gloss), stain plus lacquer, hard-wax oil for an open-pore natural feel, painted and lacquered, or laminated with a supplied decor paper. Branding is normally laser engraving on wood — permanent, no ink, and it reads well on both light and dark species. Silk screen and UV print are available where a full-colour logo is needed.
Sampling takes about 7 days after the drawing and finish are confirmed, and the MOQ is 1 piece. Because wood finish is the part buyers most often want to touch before committing, a physical sample is worth the week: colour temperature under store lighting rarely matches a screen. Production lead time is quoted per order and depends mainly on the finishing stage, which is where hand work concentrates.
It depends on the finish and the load. Painted parts are usually better in E0-grade MDF because it stays flat and paints smooth; stained or oiled parts need solid wood or veneer to show grain. Structural panels spanning a distance are better in plywood.
Yes — send a physical colour sample, a Pantone reference for paint, or a photo under neutral light. Physical samples give the closest match, since stain and lacquer shift colour under different lighting.
Kiln-dried stock is moisture-checked before machining, all faces including hidden ones are sealed, and panels are packed flat with interleaving. For long sea freight we can add desiccant and shrink wrap on request.
Yes. E0-grade MDF and plywood are standard options, and we can supply material documentation with the shipment where your market requires it.
Sketches, CAD files or reference photos are all fine to start. MOQ 1 pc · 7-day sampling.
